Silver Eagle

Summer of 2006 marks the Ulises' latest, and boldest planting. Silver Eagle is a thirty acre vineyard among the rolling hills north of Occidental, in the Green Valley viticultural area of western Sonoma County. This is prime "Pinot Country", and Ulises will be working with winemaker Mark Aubert on a sizeable area of Pinot Noir, planted at close spacing to some great Pinot clones. Given the success of the nearby Lancel Creek Zinfandel, Ulises will put a few acres in at Silver Eagle, as well as several acres of Syrah.
