Landy Vineyards
Planted on St Peters clone on the majestic rolling hills overlooking the Russian River Valley, the Landy hillside vineyards regally rise 1000 ft above the fog and are one of the highest elevations in this valley. The rocky red shale, the western sun, a steady growing season and the Valdez Family passion for the vineyards, crafts a Zinfandel with intense and evenly concentrated varietal characters- It is beauty and balance in a bottle.

The Zinfandel grape is planted throughout California. But the warm summer days and the cool foggy nights of the Russian River Valley allows this varietal to slowly reach its optimum level of ripeness. Harvest is sometimes 10-15 days later than other close by appellations. While this grape ripens slowly, the "berry" true character of Zinfandel remains, and the acids continue to remain in
balance.
